The Shape of Water Synopsis:
The new work of the director Guillermo del Toro “The Shape of Water” is a fairy tale for adults, which tells an unusual story of attraction and love of two lonely hearts. So events unfold in the early 60s of the twentieth century in the American city of Baltimore. Mute girl Eliza works as a cleaner in a secret laboratory, because only in such a place her dumbness is a big plus. However she lives a boring, monotonous life in which every day is like the previous one.
Eliza remains quiet and inconspicuous until one day a new object for study was brought to the laboratory. Furthermore it becomes a creature from the depths of the sea, a kind of amphibian man, over which begin to conduct various experiments. Observing the creature is so much for Eliza that she stays at work for a long time. A subtle sense of peace and a good attitude towards the prisoner allows the girl to get close to him and even make friends, which prompts Eliza to organize his escape for the sake of salvation.
